Why IBCP?
 
Students who wish to engage in career programs culminating at Summit Technology Academy AND take IB courses at LSWHS can earn the IBCP.  The district pays testing fees for IBCP candidates.
Students must complete the following criteria to receive the IBCP Diploma:

 

  • Participate in coursework that follows a particular career path. Course work must have an outside acknowledgement. All STA coursework qualifies.

  • At least two IB courses

  • Two-year study of a second language while maintaining a portfolio to track progress; must be enrolled in a language for one year

  • Personal and Professional Skills Zero Hour Course

  • Career-related research project on ethics

  • Fifty career-related service hours
